Gull Island /Kachemak Bay Cruise (not new but Great!)
Join us for a narrated cruise to the famous bird rookery at Gull Island. This is a great way to see puffins, cormorants, kittiwakes and other migratory seabirds while you learn about their diets, habits and migratory patterns. Watch for sea otters and an occasional whale as you cruise Kachemak Bay. In addition to Gull Island you will cruise to 60 foot rock and into Eldred Passage and Tutka Bay. The scenery is breath taking.
You will cruise along on the Northern Star, a coast guard inspected vessel, that is enclosed to keep you warm and cozy while providing you a great view through large windows. There is also an opportunity to go outside while at Gull Island so that you can take pictures and see the birds up close. Boat departs at 1 p.m. and returns by 3:30 p.m. $80 for adults and $30 for children under 12 years old. Family and large group prices available. Clients canceling in the last twenty four hours will be charged the full amount of the tour.
