In the 2004 Halibut Derby our long time customer Richard Brown took first place in July with a 334lb halibut. Richard fishes with us every summer. This year he returned with his whole family and after several days of fishing with us they left for home with over 500 pounds of fish! Needless to say, they were "happy campers."
We are proud to operate one of the only fleets in Homer that is 100% twin diesel powered. What this means to you is safety, dependability and speed. We feel we
have the finest fleet of boats in Homer. Our captains all have years of experience and are very good at what they do. They treat people right or they do not work for us. No, we are not the least expensive charter that you can find. But does it make sense to save $20 and go out on a marginal boat or a rude or inexperienced captain, after you have come all the way to Homer? We don't think so either. We offer quality at a competitive price; also known as value. Our captains are the best, our boats are in excellent condition and our fishing results are noteworthy.
